Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the YABATECH Post-UTME screening exercise, candidates must meet the following criteria:

For National Diploma (ND) Programs:

  1. JAMB UTME Requirement:
    • Must have sat for the 2025 JAMB UTME
    • Must have scored at least 160 in the JAMB UTME
    • Must have chosen YABATECH as first choice or changed to YABATECH
  2. O’Level Requirements:
    • Must have at least five (5) credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics
    • Credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings
    • The O’Level results can be from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB

For B.Sc. (Ed.) Technical Education Programs:

  1. JAMB UTME Requirement:
    • Must have sat for the 2025 JAMB UTME
    • Must have scored at least 160 in the JAMB UTME
    • Must have chosen YABATECH for the B.Sc. (Ed.) program
  2. O’Level Requirements:
    • Must have at least five (5) credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics

Direct Entry Requirements:

For candidates seeking admission through Direct Entry:
